Dale Ford and  Nicolas Senecal Recognized

OACAC’s Lifetime Achievement Award, the association’s highest member tribute, was presented to Nicolas Senecal from Brandeis University. This award is presented to an individual who, over a period of years, has performed outstanding service to OACAC, the profession, and the international college counseling community. Senecal is retiring this year after having been a member of the Admission Offices of Brandeis University, Bryant University and Boston University.

Dale Ford, Counseling Department Chair at Singapore American School and OACAC’s President in 2004-2005, was presented with the Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his outstanding service to the association. Ford developed OACAC’s first website, and was instrumental in raising the association’s stature so that it could better fulfill its mission, which is “to facilitate global interaction among counselors and institutions in support of students in their transition from secondary to higher education.”
