Why did you receive an email from us?

If you received a mailing from us, you are either a current or former member of OACAC or you have attended an Annual Summer Conference. We respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of our mailings.

Sharing and usage

We will never sell, rent, or give away email addresses. The information you have submitted to us is only available to a) OACAC Executive Board members, b) members who have been provided with a printed membership directory, and c) members who have used the member-only section of the web site to search for your contact information. As a chartered affiliate of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) we do, from time to time, share our membership records with NACAC.

Can a member request an electronic list of members’ email addresses?

OACAC receives a number of requests to provide an electronic list of members’ email addresses. We cannot accommodate these requests. In unusual circumstances, an organization or individual can contact the VP for Communications, provide information they would like to have sent to the membership, and ask that it be forwarded. That could be done in an emergency, but usually the information will be posted on the website and included in the next electronic newsletter.
